The City of Las Cruces’ Museum of Nature & Science (MoNaS,) currently located at the Mesilla Valley Mall, is scheduled to open at its new location in the Downtown Mall Nov. 2nd, 2012. And the firm designing exhibits for the new MoNaS has won the American Association of Museums’ 2011 “Excellence in Exhibitions” award.
Reich+Petch Design International received the award for their work on the Age of Mammals Gallery for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The L.A. museum recently loaned Paleozoic Trackways specimens for use in the new MoNaS.
Reich+Petch Design International completed the MoNaS Master Plan and has been working with Las Cruces museum staff on the MoNaS project since 2009.
